Ron Fulner Discussing Home for an Angel To all who have adopted a child, were adopted, or are thinking about adopting, a big HELLO. Thanks for stopping by. This children's short story is about how I told my adopted son, Zack, why he is mine. Zack came into this world and was going to be put up for adoption. Friends of ours called us on the day Zack was born and asked if we still wanted to adopt. We decide to visit him that weekend.

Meeting Zack The following Saturday we went to see Zack in the hospital and after introductions he was handed to my wife who handed him to me. He only weighed three pounds and I thought I would break him. What happened next was incredible.
Zack grabbed my little finger and every hair that I have on my body stood straight up. When I tried to hand him back he would not let go, we had to unrap his fingers. After our visit as my wife and I walked back to the car, she asked, "what do you think, should we adopt Zack?" My response was "yes", because he was mine. I know a lot of you say your prayers and go to church, but when Zack touched my hand, I felt God's presence and I just knew that this child was mine.
